Yesterday morning, I had the pleasure of taking out three generations of a family.  One of the family members had no use of their lower body.  Using items learned from our ACA adaptive paddling training, we were still able to put her in a tandem kayak with me.  She wore a lifejacket over her back brace, and we supported her upper body with extra PFDs.  Her legs were kept in position by additional padding.  Everybody on the paddle experienced a true sense of joy to see her being able to enjoy kayaking and quality time spent with family.  This is why we love our job
